We like to see ourselves as avocado doctors, because we take care of the fruit and we are increasing the ripening guarantees.” This mindset is passed on down the entire chain, with local actions that spread the values of these fruits and that are strengthened on its web site and on social media.
For the Spanish mango campaign, they will market 4 million kilos and they expect to close the year with 14 million including avocados, mangos and papayas (15% more than in 2017). “We are specialised in marketing, but our goal is to continue increasing our own production to obtain greater control over the processes.” In the medium term, new sustainability steps (water efficiency and organic packaging) will be incorporated.
