A digital solution for banana production management
FARMS Digital develops a comprehensive software solution for controlling and optimising banana and plantain production, from bunch to box.
The platform enables real-time traceability and operational monitoring, workforce and performance management, control of key stages such as bagging, grading, harvesting and packing, monitoring of diseases such as Sigatoka and weevils using recognised methodologies, and analysis of costs and yields by plot.
Implemented in the field through mobile and connected tools, FARMS supports producers in structuring, digitalising and optimising their operations.
Strong momentum in the Americas and internationally
FARMS continues to grow with new clients and strategic partnerships in Brazil, Guatemala, the Dominican Republic and Honduras, with upcoming developments in Costa Rica and the Philippines.
The company relies on an ecosystem of technological and scientific partners, including MGITECH, CIRAD, ADC Express, ATHESI, TELAQUA, FAMOCO, COIMMA and METTLER TOLEDO.
An ambitious roadmap
FARMS announces significant developments, including the launch of the ITK module for disease management (Sigatoka) in a standalone version, the deployment of HIRIS as an integrated human resources management solution, a new digital grader, RFID integration, the implementation of mobile weighing and box weighing, automation and intelligent recommendations, connectivity with equipment such as scales, RFID and sensors, and AI-powered forecasting.
This roadmap confirms FARMS’ ambition to become the technological reference for banana production management.
FARMS Digital teams invite producers, partners and specialised media to visit them at ACORBAT and ABANORTE to exchange insights on sector challenges and innovation perspectives.
