The centrifuge has received the Gold Medal of the Macfrut Innovation Award 2019 and it has been nominated at United Fresh
The Venetian company Turatti has won the Gold Medal of the Macfrut Innovation Award 2019 and it is a finalist at United Fresh 2019 in the United States with its Vortex 150. The new centrifuge solution for the food industry is used to dry several different types of leaves, particularly baby leaf, and it has some international patents on its fins, the design of which allows the water to flow outwards, absorbing vibrations and as well as on the basket, in which a vacuum suction is created and it is capable of drying delicately, with a lower number of spins, offering exceptional results.
The machine is presented with “a much lower height and a totally hygienic design that allows easy, convenient access to all the parts for correct cleaning,” Ilaria Turatti, Area Sales Manager explains. It may also be configured to work smartly with Industry 4.0, Blockchain technology and RFID.
With a strategy based on continuous innovation, sources at Turatti inform that there will be other “great new developments that will be revealed in the United States” in the near future.
Turatti has been on the market for 150 years and it is one of the benchmark companies in its sector worldwide, with branches in Italy, Salinas (California, USA) and Hanoi (Vietnam).
