Montosa “has turned into something new”

16 October, 2019

They are working hand in hand with their producing partners at source and their clients

Montosa plays a prominent role in the avocado sector: it is one of the three leading companies both in fresh produce and in avocado guacamole from the Old Continent, with around 35,000 t per year. Reaching this point “is not an easy task.” To do this, they have had to become specialised in the ripening, production and marketing of the so-called “green gold” from the source, making an important investment in technical and human resources. “We have understood that technological development must always be accompanied by the development of people, equipment, processes and methodologies,” sources from the company explain. And they have done this by giving all their knowledge and information to their producer partners and clients. Now they are taking a step further in this direction: “we have made a proposition to be the connection point between our producer partners at source and our clients, working hand in hand, in a programmed way and obtaining a long-lasting relationship.”

The company from Malaga is starting up new departments and internal processes and methodologies that have evolved their way of working, always following the same premise: producing healthy, natural and fresh food with the highest requirements in terms of food safety and creating made-to-measure solutions for their clients.

“We have never been as ready to meet our clients’ requirements, growing alongside our suppliers and continuing to move forward together towards the future.”

In recent times, Montosa has made an even more categorical commitment to sustainability with its increase in bio production and the launch of an ‘eco-friendly’ packaging line.

Montosa’s team will be present at Fruit Attraction (Hall 10, Stand 10C01) to inform both present and potential clients about their new developments. To arrange an appointment or to get further information you can write to them at: info@frutamontosa.com.
