After the coming into effect of the Implementing Decision (EU) 2019/2167, at CAAE, true to our commitment to the sector, we would like to inform of the new fertilising and plant protection substances for ecological farming that can hold the CAAE supplies stamp.
The following are the new incorporations:
- Fertilisers with a humic and fulvic acid base, originating from leonardite.
- Basic substances: hydrogen peroxide and sodium chloride.
- Maltodextrin.
- Terpenes: eugenol, geraniol and thymol.
- Cerevisane.
- Pyrethrins obtained from plants other than Chrysanthemum cinerariaefolium.
It is considered that this Decision opens up a broad range of possibilities for new supplies to be incorporated to the ecological production sector that can hold the CAAE supplies stamp.
The inclusion of humic and fulvic acids in Annex I of the RCE 889/2008 is particularly relevant since this has been a demand made by the Spanish ecological sector for many years and it is highly positive for a sector such as this, which is in constant growth and that faces up to new challenges every year.
