Jingold, the global kiwi specialist based in Cesena (Italy), has closed its Northern Hemisphere campaign with a strong performance, coinciding with the 25th anniversary of its foundation. The company has exceeded €100 million in turnover for the first time, representing a 20% increase year-on-year and reinforcing its position in international markets.
The result comes at the end of a challenging season marked by increased global supply and geopolitical tensions, yet the company successfully achieved its commercial and marketing targets, further strengthening its competitive positioning.
Growth across all varieties
The Northern Hemisphere campaign concludes with rising volumes across all product categories. Yellow kiwi, the company’s core business, recorded a 20% increase, while red kiwi grew by 10%. Green kiwi also showed particularly strong momentum, with notable growth in production from Italy and Greece.
Overall, Jingold marketed around 35,000 tonnes, including approximately 25,000 tonnes of yellow kiwi, 2,000 tonnes of red kiwi and 8,000 tonnes of green kiwi.
Markets and retail: uneven growth dynamics
Sales growth was recorded across all major markets and channels, although with varying intensity. Expansion was more pronounced in high-potential markets, particularly in North America, with the United States, Canada and Mexico standing out.
In contrast, more mature European markets such as Spain and Germany showed more moderate growth. In this context, targeted marketing initiatives developed with key retail partners, especially within European large-scale distribution, played a key role in boosting both sales performance and brand visibility.
Production expansion and new developments
The company continues to implement its production expansion plan, with new plantings established each year, particularly in Italy and Greece. These investments are carried out both through associated growers and directly managed projects, aiming to support future growth and ensure consistent product quality.
Southern Hemisphere campaign underway
As the Northern Hemisphere season comes to a close, Jingold is launching its Southern Hemisphere campaign. The first shipments of red kiwi are expected to arrive in Europe in the coming days, while yellow kiwi will follow in the weeks ahead.

Volumes are expected to increase across all production areas, with South Africa standing out as a key growth hub, particularly for yellow-flesh varieties. The strategy focuses on selected channels and customers, with the aim of gradually reducing supply gaps and moving towards year-round availability.
A model built on innovation and value chain integration
Since its origins in 2001 as the Kiwigold Consortium, Jingold has evolved into a global operator with a strong focus on varietal innovation and value creation across the entire supply chain.
Today, the group works with around 1,000 growers across both hemispheres, with the majority of production located in Italy. It also has an international presence in key markets such as Chile, China, South Africa and Greece.
With nearly 90% of its sales exported, Jingold continues to strengthen its positioning in Europe and beyond, supported by a strategy focused on quality, varietal differentiation and operational efficiency.
25 years of growth with a forward-looking vision
Jingold’s 25th anniversary marks a milestone in the company’s development, reflecting a business model built on collaboration with growers, continuous innovation and strong governance.
In an increasingly demanding market, the company looks ahead with the ambition to further expand its international presence and consolidate its leadership in the high-value kiwi segment.
