Sweet potato shares the potato’s culinary versatility while offering a distinctive flavour profile and a wider range of consumption occasions.
Alongside sweet potato, the company is also introducing baby potatoes, specially targeted at the Christmas menu season, and Halal potatoes.
Having strengthened its position in the domestic market, Paturpat, a subsidiary of the Udapa cooperative, is now aiming to increase its international presence, according to Alfonso Sáenz de Cámara, Managing Director of Udapa.
The company has also maintained its positive sales momentum, recording an 11.5% increase in sales volume and a 13% rise in turnover during 2025.
