50 years of Ajos Imperio

It all started in October, 1967, when Francisco Mira Hernández planted the first hectares of garlic in Anna (Valencia). This was the moment, with the first small plantations, when Imperio was born.

When he was just sixteen years old, Francisco Vicente Mira-Costa Ruiz decided to embark on the project led by his father, starting to work shoulder to shoulder with him. Now he is the one managing the company and he has an in depth knowledge of the business and of the market that Imperio leads, due to his extensive experience, but above all, to the valuable knowledge that his father passed on to him.

Today, Imperio is a reference point for the garlic sector and it has over 600 hectares of its own production, between conventional and ecological garlic. The investment, constant dedication and technical and human development have meant the success of this company, concentrating on the production, packaging and marketing of a wide range of traditional, ecological and pre-prepared food products.

This year Imperio is commemorating its 50th anniversary, committed more than ever before to working with the same enthusiasm, dedication and excellence as they did half a century ago.
