The chef from San Sebastian praised the healthy properties and the versatility of broccoli during the presentation of the book ‘Grandes chefs y el brócoli’ (Great chefs and broccoli) which took place at Madrid Fusión. The work, launched by the Asociación +Brócoli, a non-profit making organisation aimed at promoting the consumption of this vegetable, includes recipes by outstanding chefs from the national and international scene.
“All the profits that we obtain from the sale of the book will be donated in full to the Spanish Association Against Cancer”, Javier Bernabéu, secretary of +Brócoli stressed. He took advantage of the occasion to thank the 20 chefs and gastronomic bloggers who have supplied their recipes, for their cooperation, amongst whom, in addition to Martín Berasategui, Ricard Camarena, Begoña Rodrigo or Rodrigo de la Calle also appear. Likewise, Bernabéu thanked the journalist and writer Teresa Viejo, who wrote the foreword.
