The Apofruit Group will once again take part in Fruit Attraction, bringing together Apofruit, Canova and Mediterraneo Group at Stand 8C02 – Hall 8 with a renewed exhibition space designed to highlight the Group’s evolution and international outlook.
The 2026 edition will place the spotlight on a supply chain model that combines producer expertise, varietal innovation, organic production and commercial capabilities in overseas markets.
It will also have a special significance for Canova Spain, which celebrates its 20th anniversary this year. The milestone will be commemorated during the Group’s participation in Madrid, recognising two decades of activity and development in both the Spanish and international markets.
A supply chain model focused on international markets
“Fruit Attraction is an important date for us to strengthen relationships with our customers and engage with the industry in an increasingly international marketplace,” explains Mirco Zanotti, President of Apofruit.
According to Zanotti, the joint presence of Apofruit, Canova and Mediterraneo Group reflects the Group’s commitment to presenting itself as an organisation capable of combining knowledge, production capacity and market reach, while keeping its members and their crops at the centre of its activity.
For Ernesto Fornari, General Manager of Apofruit, internationalisation is one of the defining elements of the Group’s model.
“Being present at Fruit Attraction means meeting our contacts face to face and explaining the work behind our products, from crop planning and varietal research through to marketing,” he says.
The Group will showcase a portfolio that includes both conventional and organic produce, with a consolidated presence in leading European markets.
Twenty years of Canova Spain
The Madrid event will also provide an opportunity to celebrate 20 years of Canova Spain.
Cesare Gridelli, Director of Canova, highlights the importance of this anniversary as a milestone in the company’s development. Over these two decades, the Spanish subsidiary has strengthened its relationships with the trade and contributed to expanding the Group’s international perspective.
At Fruit Attraction, Canova Spain will celebrate this journey while presenting the initiatives it is developing to respond to the changing needs of the market.
Dulcis™ kiwifruit takes centre stage
Fruit Attraction will also be a showcase for Dulcis™ Kiwifruit, a project in which Apofruit is a partner.
