Hispatec is presenting Margaret

Hispatec

It is the first Artificial Intelligence platform for the agricultural sector, which is unique due to its compatibility with other systems

Hispatec will attend Fruit Attraction with a revolutionary new development for the fruit and vegetable sector, Margaret, the first agrifood Artificial Intelligence (AI) platform on the market.

This innovative digital breakthrough is made from different layers of analytical software that give it skills to bring maximum value to its clients and users. And, above all, it is focused on helping the different stakeholders on the Agrifood Network to make decisions based on data.

Margaret can acquire, collect and store data from any available information source, such as IoT devices, sensing systems, machinery, satellite, climatological, agronomic, legal or trade sources, as well as being able to integrate with ERPs (ERPagro, SAP, Oracle or Navision) and applications of all kinds.

According to Gonzalo Martín, Strategy and Business Development Manager at Hispatec, “Margaret will revolutionise agricultural digitalisation, as it connects all the nodes generating knowledge that are useful for agriculture and it generates an intelligence impossible to create with the tools existing to date”.

Thanks to its processing engines, it is designed for data analysis using algorithms and AI models (internal and external) that combine advanced mathematical and geographical analysis skills. In addition to this, it has another operating layer based on a framework of agro-business applicatives that allow personalised website and mobile phone applications to be developed for every requirement needed by producers, aggregators or complementary industries. That is to say, Margaret prepares the data for development both within the Hispatec ecosystem and on the clients’ applications and platforms, such as Power BI, Qlik, SAP, Dynamics, Oracle, John Deere, Esri or others. Its compatibility with other systems makes it unique.

On the company’s stand E01, in the Smart Agro area in hall 5, another two innovations may also be seen: “Efemis”, a new ecosystem of advanced solutions and for mobility focused on Pre-harvest; and ERPagro Cloud, the advance of the solution in leader management, now available on the cloud and other digital services for the sector such as the development of APPs and the intensive use of mobile devices to streamline the management and increase efficiency.
