KPE is growing with asparagus and bio crops

15 October, 2018

They started the project a year and a half ago and they are still adding hectares and references to their ecological line

Following their diversification strategy, and in line with their customers’ demands, Kettle Produce Spain (KPE) is developing a green asparagus project. “We started a year and a half ago and at present we are talking about a small volume that covers the specific needs for pre-prepared and fresh produce, but we hope to be able to develop this and see it increase in the near future,” comments Juan Manuel Ruiz Soler, the company’s sales manager.

Another of the lines that is worth mentioning is ecological produce, where they are extending the surface area and including new references to adapt their offer to the rise in demand of this type of more environmentally-friendly produce. They already have broccoli, cauliflower, romanesco broccoli and cabbage.

Specialised in winter vegetables, KPE has a wide range with broccoli as its star product and other references such as cauliflower, cabbage, green Savoy cabbage, kale, kohlrabi… and in the summer produce range they offer yellow and Galia melons.

The sales team will be present at Fruit Attraction, as it is every year, to show the entire range of produce to customers. “The trade fair is held at a perfect moment to be able to meet up and close down details regarding the next winter campaign, as well as showing the world our work.” Visit them on their stand, 7D05A, in hall 7.
