The company will present its detection and multi-specific quantification for fungi and specific phytopathogen bacteria analysis using PCR in real time in soil, vegetable material and fruit.
In October 2019, Reactiva Laboratorio’s first participation concluded as exhibitors at Fruit Attraction. Reactiva’s sales and technical team returned home content, reviewing the contacts made and planning its next participation in 2020. In March, however, the outbreak of the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 altered their routines and projects. At that moment, many people were asking: will Fruit Attraction be held in 2020? The Madrid trade fair is a landmark on the calendar for many professionals from the fruit and vegetable sector, organising their autumn agendas around the dates when Fruit Attraction is held.
“The images of the field hospital set up at IFEMA shook all of us who had walked through these halls at some point, meeting up with friends, greeting clients or starting new sales and personal relations with contacts generated during the trade fair,” Pablo Castillo, director and sales manager of Reactiva Laboratorio, comments.
The organisation has made an enormous effort to reinvent an event in which personal contact is very important and to inspire exhibitors with an alternative formula. “This edition is very special and the team from Reactiva Laboratorio was clear from the very beginning we wanted to participate. The physical trade fair will be back, and we can’t wait for it! But it will never be the same as before. I am sure that the experience of the LIVEConnect edition will determine what the trade fairs of the future will be like.”
The human team made up of Adolfo Marín, laboratory manager; Antonio Molina, sales delegate; and Pablo Castillo will answer all the requests received from meetings and contacts throughout the entire month of October.
Reactiva is a laboratory that provides analysis and advisory services to professional companies in the agrifood sector, by way of carrying out and interpreting analyses of pesticides and other pollutants, agronomical analyses (foliage, water, soil, etc), along with microbiological and phytopathogen analyses.
At this trade fair, Reactiva will present its latest development: its detection and multi-specific analysis for fungi and specific phytopathogen bacteria using PCR in real time in soil, vegetable material and fruit.
Reactiva is a subsidiary company of Groupe Carso, which is also present in Spain through Anabiol, a laboratory specialising in analyses for the food industry.
