Bultaco has consolidated its position as Bayer’s leading variety in the autumn lamuyo segment, a market in which the company holds a strong leadership position. In its three years of commercial life, this material has steadily increased its market share, and prospects for the upcoming campaign point to further growth. Recommended for transplanting between April and mid-July, Bultaco stands out for its resistance to powdery mildew, its robustness, vigour and medium-to-large calibres that appeal to both growers and marketers. Quality, resistance and yield are the three parameters most valued by the sector, and this variety delivers strongly on all three.

New variety with nematode resistance

For the next campaign, the company is preparing a new variety that follows in the footsteps of Bultaco and additionally incorporates resistance to nematodes.
