‘Bio’ sashes from Cesurca

16 October, 2019

In Madrid, the cooperative is showing its renewed sustainable packaging line

Centro Sur (Cesurca) is actively working to eliminate plastic from its products, and at Fruit Attraction it will present its new sustainable sashes. Prepared using compostable materials and paper, they are a step further in the struggle for greater environmental sustainability.

The company has already taken these new developments to the Berlin trade fair Fruit Logistica, and now it will present them at Ifema from the 22nd to the 24th of October on stand 9C07, in Hall 9.

Other developments have been added to the new packaging, such as the new, smaller asparagus tips presentation formats (between 50 and 250 g), adapted to today’s families, more convenient and sustainable, as 100% of the product is used, avoiding waste and reducing CO2, fuels and other supplies derived from transport savings.

Don’t forget to visit their stand to discover their wide range of asparagus: green, wild with PGI of ‘Espárrago de Huétor-Tájar’, white and purple. Many top-quality options for every palate and taste. And with the added value of its nutritional properties. The fact is that asparagus is an excellent source of protein; it has a reduced energy value and a very low fat, sodium, fructans, saponins and folates content, amongst others.
